THE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEO-MODERNIST PHILOSOPHY CURRICULUM

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine and find out empirically about planning, organizing assessment, educational supervision, institutions, and the role of educational administration in developing the philosophy curriculum at Nuruzzaman Integrated Middle School Boarding School, Cilengkrang District, Bandung Regency. In general, this research aims to analyze and describe the role of educational administration in developing the philosophy curriculum at Nuruzzaman Boarding School Integrated Middle School, Cilengkrang District, Bandung Regency. In this research, the author used a qualitative descriptive approach. The research methods that researchers used in this research include case studies, observations, and interviews. Data collection is the recording of events, information and matters relating to some or all elements of the population that will support the research. The results of the research show that in the educational administration planning aspect, Nuruzzaman Boarding School Integrated Middle School has set high standards. The qualifications of educators are entirely linear to the subjects taught, demonstrating the school's commitment to quality education. In the organizational aspect, Nuruzzaman Boarding School Integrated Middle School has built an efficient structure with a clear division of tasks which is stated in the main duties and functions and is known to all school components. In the educational administration assessment aspect, the implementation takes the form of evaluating all activity programs implemented. In the supervision aspect of educational administration, the active role of the principal in supervision and evaluation shows direct involvement in educational operations. Likewise, the institutional aspects and administrative roles at Nuruzzaman Integrated Middle School are well organized.   Keywords: Neo-Modernist, Boarding School, Planning, Institutional, Educational Administration
