ENHANCING STUDENTS' ENGLISH VOCABULARY WITH HYPONYM GAMES
Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate how well SDIT Al-Hijrah 2 students in the fifth grade used hyponym games to increase their vocabulary knowledge. The quantitative analysis used a pre-experimental methodology with a single group pre-test and post-test designs. In total, 30 students took part in this study. According to the statistical data analysis findings using the t-test, the students' pre-test average score was 54, while their post-test average was 74.73. Furthermore, the data calculation revealed that, at a significance level of 0.05, that was 7.0, and the table was 1.701, or 7.0 > 1.701. As a result, this study supports the claim that hyponym games help students improve their vocabulary proficiency.Downloads
