Abstract

This study aims to determine the Corralation of running dictation method in GradeVII students at SMP Negeri 1 Salapian. The population in this study totaled 190people. While the sample in this study were 64 students who were in the samplewith 32 people taking the initial test and 32 people taking the final test. Thehypothesis put forward in this study is that it is very good at listening to runningdictate is listened to by class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Salapian. From the testresults it is known that the average score of the test results for the control class is69 while in the experimental class of 79. Both data are normally distributed, bothdata are homogeneous. From the calculation, it is obtained that the value of t_countis 3,73 while t_table is 2,41, so that t_count> t_table, so that the hypothesisproposed is proven true, that is, students really understand listening to what theysee
