THE EFFECT OF TASK BASED LEARNING STRATEGY TO IMPROVE ADVERB OF MANNER AT TEN GRADE STUDENTS SMKS PABAKU STABAT

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Task-based learning onlearning achievement in adverb of manner understanding of class X students ofSMKS Pabaku Stabat. This study uses experimental research. The writer chose oneclass and divided it into two groups, namely the group using task-based learningand the group without task-based learning. This research uses pre-test and post-testin collecting data. The form of the test is multiple choice. Each form of the testconsists of 10 items. Finally, the findings show that adverb of mannercomprehension with Task Based Learning (TBL) will produce better results thanreading comprehension without Task Based Learning (TBL). Based on thecalculation of the t-test, it is known that the tobservation is 427350 t-table = 166437.So, the result is higher than the t-table. The T-observations above show that thealternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is a significant effectof Task Based Learning on learning achievement in understanding Adverb ofManner for class X students of SMKS Pabaku Stabat.References
