DEVELOPING TIKTOK VIDEO MATERIALS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS' LEARNING RECOUNT TEXT

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic spread the world, which is the resulted in face-to-face teaching and learning process being severely hampered, therefore supporting media and learning resources are needed during Covid-19 pandemic, so that the learning process can be continue. The students able to using the application that was familiar with them, namely TikTok. TikTok is the application of technology who will be the one of solution to overcome online TEFL. The aim of this study is to develop TikTok video materials which is able to be implemented for students during the pandemic situation as their material online. This study will be conducted by ADDIE Model as the basic of material to development (Branch, 2009). In the model has provides 5 stages such as analysis, design, develop, implementation and evaluation. The participants of this students at MTs Al Irsyad that have an opportunity to being creative and also explore their ideas based on the task given by an English teacher. Meanwhile, the result of this study provided in TikTok video and lesson plan that can be useful for English teacher as strategy in teaching in order to create an interactive in learning and motivate the students.     Key Words : Developing, Motivation, TikTok, Recount Text
