The author wanted to provide an explanation in studying Auxiliary Modals, especially 'Can' and 'Could,' so that students could understand them. The author not only wanted to know the reasons they experienced difficulties learning Auxiliary Modals but also the level of students' understanding of Auxiliary Modals. In collecting data, the author observed tenth grade students at Indah Maju Jaya Vocational School by giving tests and conducting interviews with students who had low scores. The author used descriptive analysis techniques by visiting schools to conduct research, namely giving tests about Auxiliary Modals in terms of meaning, function, and form. After conducting interviews with students with low scores, the author concluded that students' difficulties in learning Auxiliary Modals originated from personal factors; for most of them, these difficulties were caused by their interest in English lessons, as they did not pay attention to the explanations given by their teachers. Apart from that, the difficulties they experienced were caused by their own motivation or encouragement to study English. </em><em>From the observant result explained above, that the cause of the students’ learning difficulties were came from the internal factor, that most of interviewee facing the difficulties caused by the interest, they do not attention to the teacher’s explanation, beside that the cause of difficulties are caused by their motivation in learning English subject with 12 students and their special types of learner with 5 students. The external factors, social environment is 4 students. They could not study well and bad-relationship between teacher and students. This was a quantitative pre experimental research design and the writer chose one time series design. There were only one class, that was experimental class. The experimental class was taught by using conventional method in pre-test and taught by using song lyric in post-test. The sample was 18 students where the writer used purposive sampling technique. Based on the result of the data analysis, the value of t<sub>count </sub>was 1,92and the value of t<sub>table</sub> was 1,74 for 5%. It means that t<sub>count</sub>t<sub>table</sub>. It can be concluded that learning listening by using song lyric method had a significant effect. In other words the students’ listening skill could be improved by using song lyric method.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Keywords: Song Lyric Method, Listening Skill, Joox Application.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p> <p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pengaruh metode lirik lagu pada penggunaan aplikasi joox dalam pengajaran mendengarkan pada siswa kelas x SMA Swasta Al-Ihsan Wampu. Ini adalah sebuah desain penelitian kuantitatif pre eksperimen dan penulis memilih desain one time series. Hanya ada satu kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen. Kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional pada pra-tes&nbsp; dan diajarkan dengan menggunakan lirik lagu pada pasca-tes Samplenya&nbsp; adalah 18 siswa yang mana penulis menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian, nila t hitung adalah 1,92 dan nilai t tabel adalah 1,74 untuk 5%. Itu berarti bahwa t hitung &gt; t tabel. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran mendengarkan dengan menggunakan metode lirik lagu memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. By leveraging the visual, audio, and contextual advantages of mini vlog, it is expected to provide a more engaging and effective learning experience. Finding out whether mini-vlog significantly improves students' speaking abilities is the main goal of this research. The nature of this study is exploratory. Fifteen students make up the study group. Class of Dharma Patra P. Berandan at the Vocational School as a population, a total of 140 pupils from 5 classes makes up the basic population. Classes XI TKJ and Multimedia (XI) were selected as examples for this study, along with an experimental group and a control group. Data was analyzed using the speaking exam. Prior to receiving therapy, students in both groups took a pretest, and following treatment, they took a posttest. Compared to the pre-test average of 59.50, the post-test average was 77.25. The end consequence was a 1.3% increase rather than a rise. Several reasons make this more difficult, such as mistakes made by researchers and students and students not following the therapy methods as planned. As contemporary reimagining of traditional horror tropes, both films present unique portrayals of evil, femininity, and the supernatural, reflecting Indonesia’s evolving cultural and spiritual landscape. Through a comparative analysis of visual storytelling, character construction, and symbolic elements, the research highlights how each film embodies distinct interpretations of folklore, myth, and religious belief. The study draws upon literary theory, semiotics, and cultural studies to investigate how narrative structures and symbolic imagery communicate broader societal anxieties, particularly those concerning gender roles, moral boundaries, and spiritual transgression. <em>Pengantin Iblis</em> leans toward a more traditional and ritualistic portrayal of evil, <em>Pengantin Setan</em> incorporates modern horror aesthetics and psychological tension, revealing a shift in audience expectations and cultural discourse. By situating these films within the framework of Indonesian popular culture and literary heritage, the study reveals how horror cinema continues to serve as a powerful medium for negotiating identity, tradition, and modernity.
