MEASUREMENT OF THE AFFECTIVE SPACE OF INDONESIAN LANGUAGE TEACHING GRADE VII OF SMP ISKANDAR SAID SURABAYA
Abstract
There are four important affective characteristics, namely interests, attitudes, self-concept, and values. This affective assessment aimed to obtain information on students' interest in Bahasa subjects. Then to find out students' attitudes towards Bahasa subjects, the measurement results are useful for setting strategies in learning for students. Furthermore, to find out the weaknesses and strengths as well as information that can be used to determine programs for students. The last objective is to reveal individual values, where the information obtained is in positive and negative values. It serves to amplify positive values and remove negative values. This research aimed to describe the implementation of measurement through the affective domain. This research used a quantitative approach, because this approach can describe the affective results into numbers so that it is easy to analyze the data statistically. The subjects in this research were seventh grade students at SMP Iskandar Said, Surabaya in the Bahasa subjects. The variable in this research was the affective domain. The method or data collection technique used the statement method. The measurement of affective domain used an observation sheet.References
