Advanced reading skills encompass not only the comprehension of academic texts but also critical analysis, information synthesis, and evaluation of scholarly arguments. The research employed a Research and Development (R&amp;D) methodology using the Borg and Gall model, which consists of six main stages: needs analysis, design, development, initial testing, product revision, and field testing. The research subjects were second-semester students from Class B at STKIP Budidaya Binjai, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The results indicated that the e-module had a high level of validity, with an average score of 4.5 out of 5 based on expert evaluations in content and media. The implementation of the e-module demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ academic reading skills, with a 20% increase in text comprehension, a 20% increase in critical analysis, and a 27% increase in student engagement. Furthermore, interview responses revealed that students were more motivated to use the e-module due to its interactivity, which helped them better understand the structure of academic texts in a more systematic way.
