The quasi-experimental research design is widely used in the field of education, especially when researchers are unable to fully randomize subjects. This article aims to examine and analyze the quasi-experimental research design within the context of education. The quasi-experimental design is a method frequently employed to evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions when randomization is not feasible. Through this literature review, we identify various approaches and techniques used in quasi-experimental research, as well as the challenges and advantages faced by researchers. Additionally, this study discusses the importance of internal and external validity in quasi-experimental designs and their implications for educational practice. The findings indicate that although this design has limitations, it remains a valuable tool for generating empirical evidence that can support decision-making in education. It is hoped that these findings will provide insights for researchers and education practitioners in designing and implementing more effective research.References
