Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 26 siswa kelas VIII-G SMP Negeri 1 Kecamatan Binjai Kabupaten Langkat. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berbasis LKS, angket kepercayaan diri, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri tidak selalu sejalan dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Terdapat variasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada berbagai tingkat kepercayaan diri: siswa dengan kepercayaan diri rendah menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi cukup baik, siswa dengan kepercayaan diri sedang menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi baik, sedangkan siswa dengan kepercayaan diri tinggi hanya menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis cukup baik. Diharapkan guru matematika dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa tetapi juga mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang mendukung kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Praktik yang lebih intensif dalam mengekspresikan ide matematika menggunakan bahasa siswa sendiri dan penggunaan konteks budaya lokal yang lebih bermakna perlu diterapkan. The research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. Data analysis techniques are conducted through descriptive analysis. The research sample consists of class X Accounting 1 as the experimental class (26 students) and class X Accounting 2 as the control class (26 students), selected using simple random sampling. The results of the study showed that the mathematical reasoning ability of students taught with the Inquiry Role Approach model increased by 16.462, from an average value of 66.432 to 82.885. The completeness of each indicator obtained was as follows: determining patterns (84.23%), submitting conjectures (88.08%), manipulating (88.85%), compiling evidence (83.85%), and drawing conclusions (69.42%), the calculation results showed that t<sub>count</sub>> t<sub>table</sub>, which was 5.233> 2.80. The self-efficacy of students in the experimental class showed that no students were included in the low category (0%). A total of 3 students (11.53%) are in the medium category, while the majority, 23 students (88.46%), are in the high category. The respondents in this study were 32 students from class VIII-1 who participated in activities from October 12 to October 30, 2024. The research used the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), focusing on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning media. The results show that the developed interactive learning media can be accessed via electronic devices connected to the internet and has an interface that is easy for students to use. Validation by material and media experts showed very valid results with percentages above 90%. The small and large-scale trials indicated that the GeoGebra-based learning media is very practical to use and helps students understand the concepts of cubes and rectangular prisms more interactively. In the field test, student responses showed that the media is very practical, with an average percentage of 89.24%. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were students of class VII</em><em>I</em><em> Mts Nahdhatul Islam Mancang, which consisted of 32 students. Methods of data collection in the form of observation, diagnostic tests, interviews and learning achievement tests. The results of the research on the difficulty of obtaining the difficulties experienced by students in solving </em><em>system of linear equations in two variables</em><em> word problems, namely students' difficulties from how to read, students' difficulties from mathematical facts, students' difficulties from mathematical concepts, students' difficulties from mathematical operations and students' difficulties from mathematical principles. To solve these difficulties, a system of how to read questions using the SQ4R technique was created. The results of interviews with teachers and students of class VI</em><em>I</em><em>I found the difficulties students usually face in solving word problems, namely: (1) students are unable to read questions or translate questions in the form of mathematical models (2) students are not careful in calculations. So that improvement is needed by continuing in cycle I to fix the difficulties faced by students. After being given action in cycle 1. through the SQ4R technique, individual learning mastery was obtained, but classical learning mastery had not been achieved. Because it has not reached classical completeness, it is necessary to proceed to cycle II. Then after giving action in cycle II using SQ4R, it was obtained that the average value of students increased who had achieved individual learning mastery and classical learning mastery. This research was conducted at STKIP Budidaya Binjai on fourth semester students. </em><em>Jenis penelitian</em><em> yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksprimen </em><em>dengan desain penelitian pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study was all fourth semester students of STKIP Budidaya Binjai. In the experimental class, the treatment was given using realistic mathematics learning and in the control class, conventional learning was used with pretests and posttests. The Matlab program can be used as a tool in learning discrete mathematics courses, especially graph theory material with mastery of concepts, theories, and procedures. The data in this study were analyzed using a simple regression test.</em> <em>Matlab software is used to draw vertices, graph edges and graph components. Data analysis techniques using SPSS-Version 18 software with linear regression tests. From the results of the average test scores for understanding mathematical concepts of students in the experimental class before and after learning were 46.96 and 79.96. While for the control class 42.10 and 64.56. The results of the hypothesis test with a significance value of α = 5% then H</em><em><sub>0</sub></em> <em>is rejected and H</em><em><sub>a</sub></em><em> is accepted.
