Abstract

One of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programs is Campus Teaching Batch 7. The purpose of this program is to help students in schools located in places that need support in literacy and numeracy. In doing so, students work with educators to create and implement innovative, creative, and effective learning in schools. The method uses an interactive and participatory approach in the learning process. SD Negeri 020252, located at Jl. Jenderal Gatot Subroto No. 84, Limau Mungkur, West Binjai District, Binjai City, North Sumatra 20743 is the target school of the 7th batch of teaching campus. The assignment lasts from February 26, 2024 to June 16, 2024. The expected results of the implementation of the work program that took place during the assignment at the school showed that the program was significantly able to improve students' numeracy skills. With the AKM Posttest scores, which obtained average results of 83% and 55%, showing an increase in literacy skills by 48% and numeracy by 27% after the Pretest implementation. Students have the opportunity to contribute directly to the world of education through this campus teaching program. Through the use of engaging media and games, creative and effective learning processes can help schools and students improve their literacy and numeracy skills.
