ANALISIS CLUSTERING DENGAN METODE K-MEANS TERHADAP STATISTIK PERMAINAN PRO-PLAYER VALORANT PADA KOMPETISI VALORANT CHAMPIONS 2022

Abstract

Valorant is an FPS (First-Person Shooter) video game developed by Riot Games and currently popular among gamers. In 2022, Riot Games held a Valorant game competition in Istanbul called Valorant Champions. This competition is the peak competition where only 16 teams have qualified for the previous two competition phases, Valorant Challengers and Valorant Masters. The teams participating in Valorant Champions each consist of at least 5 players and come from different countries. Of course this will provide more challenges to the players because each country has a different playing style. Therefore, the writer examines the clustering analysis on players in the Valorant Champions competition to find out the grouping of players based on their statistics while playing in the competition. Clustering will be processed using K-Means because the process is simple and quick, then using the elbow method and silhouette method to determine the optimal number of centroids.
