PENGUATAN KARAKTER TOLERANSI SOSIAL MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN PPKN DI KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 1 SELESAI KABUPATEN LANGKAT
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to: 1) describe the implementation of strengthening tolerance and responsibility character education in instilling social attitudes of students in SMA Negeri 1 Complete 3; 2) identify obstacles in habituation of character strengthening; 3) describe solutions and efforts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. Technical data analysis using interactive analysis. The validity of the data using source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the research show that: 1) Implementation planning activities carried out are student observation, coordination meetings, work program preparation, program implementation, supervision, evaluation. The value of tolerance that has not been applied is that students have not been able to appreciate individual differences while there are still students who have not carried out their duties properly. Assessment is carried out by affective assessment, namely observing students' attitudes, conducting assessments, and evaluating; 2) the obstacles faced are the habituation of students at home and in different schools. The teacher has implemented it but there is a lack of concern for some of the parents of the participants so that the habituation is not consistent; 3) the solutions that have been sought are collaboration between teachers, committees, students, and parents through meetings at the beginning of the school year and the application of social attitude values in everyday life.Downloads
