PERAN KEGIATAN PRAMUKA SEBAGAI SARANA MENINGKATKAN DISIPLIN SISWA SMP
Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of scouting activities as a means to improve the discipline of junior high school students. The research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques through survey methods, participatory observation, in-depth interviews. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique, this technique is used by researchers with the consideration that only students who participate in Scout activities will be studied, the samples in this study were 10 scout members. And if the data needed to support the completeness of this research is later felt to be lacking or incomplete, then in this case the author will conduct interviews with the Scout activity coaches totaling 2 people. The results of the research obtained: (1) Positive Attitude and Responsibility: Discipline helps students develop a positive attitude towards themselves and others. (2) Ability to Face Challenges: Discipline trains students to face challenges with determination and perseverance. (3) Increased Productivity: With good discipline, students are able to manage time efficiently, avoid procrastination, and complete their tasks on time. (4) Self-Reliance and Independence: following rules and abiding by responsibilities, students learn to manage themselves, take initiative, and work independently. (5) Quality of Social Relations: Disciplined students tend to be respected by their peers and teachers.Downloads
