Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Editor Jurnal Serunai Bahasa Indonesia  mengundang penulis untuk mengirim artikel yang disesuaikan dengan ketentuan penulisan sebagai berikut:

  1. Naskah  berupa hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, dan kajian aplikasi teori tentang kebahasaan, kesusastraan, dan pengajarannya
  2. Naskah belum pernah dipublikasikan melalui media lain dan karya asli penulis, bukan plagiat
  3. Naskah diketik dengan program microsoft word, huruf Times New Roman ukuran 12, spasi 1,5, pada kertas A4, 4 cm dari tepi kiri, 4 cm dari tepi atas, 3 cm dari tepi kanan, dan 3 cm dari tepi bawah.
  4. Jumlah halaman 9 - 20 halaman, termasuk tabel dan daftar pustaka.
  5. Naskah dapat ditulis dengan bahasa Indonesia.
  6. Penulisan berpedoman pada bahasa standar termasuk ejaannya, untuk naskah berbahasa Indonesia sesuai dengan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia.
  7. Naskah diharapkan mengikuti format esai yang meliputi:
  8. Subjudul dicetak tebal dan diberi nomor yang menggambarkan alur pembahasan
  9. Abstrak ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Panjang abstrak sekitar 150 kata, dengan jarak satu spasi.
  10. Kata kunci paling banyak lima kata,  mencerminkan konsep penting dalam naskah
  11. Daftar Pustaka  disusun secara alfabetis tanpa nomor urut seperti contoh berikut.
    • Judul (10 - 20 kata),
    • Nama penulis (tanpa gelar) dengan alamat email dan nama institusi,
    • Abstak dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia (masing-masing 150-200 kata) yang berisi permasalahan, metode dan hasil,
    • Kata kunci dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia (5-7 kata),
    • Informasi diri penulis dan alamat email,
    • Pendahuluan (tanpa sub-section, 2-3 halaman) yang DAPAT meliputi latar belakang, tujuan, metode, landasan teori atau studi pustaka. Pendahuluan dapat diakhiri dengan penekanan isu/topik yang didiskusikan,
    • Diskusi,
    • Simpulan, dan
    • Daftar Pustaka.

12. Naskah dikirim berupa print out dan CD, ditulis dalam program MS Word.

13. Penulis bersedia melakukan revisi naskah jika diperlukan.

14. Penulis yang naskahnya dimuat akan memperoleh dua eksemplar jurnal sebagai bukti pemuatan
