This research aims to describe the structure of the id, ego and superego in the main character in the novel Merayakan Kesedihan by Lilpudu. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analysis methods. The data source used is the novel Merayakan Kesedihan by Lilpudu, while the data analyzed includes sentences, words and phrases that reflect the personality structure in the novel. The research instrument involves the researcher himself with the help of personality structure analysis guidelines based on Freud's theory. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research found id, ego, super ego in the novel Merayakan Kesedihan by Lilpudu. The id includes innate instincts, namely pain, fatigue and desire, namely desire. Ego includes the roles played by the characters and actions in the form of actions or behavior of the characters. The superego includes the conscience, which is the punishments given to the characters and the ego ideal is a form of appreciation which is used as a standard of personality perfection.References
