THE EFFECT OF THE TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TSTS) LEARNING MODEL ON THE LEARNING MOTIVATION OF PKN CLASS IX STUDENTS OF MTS NURUL IMAN PADANG REBA, KECAMATAN HINAI , KABUPATE LANGKAT

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the two stay two stray (tsts) learning model on the motivation to learn civics class IX MTS Nurul Iman Padang Reba Hinai District Langkat Regency. With a sample size of 25 people in class IX. From the data analysis, several findings were obtained, namely the average use of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model was 47.02 with a standard deviation of 7.6. It can also be known that students' Civics learning motivation with an average of 58.4 and a standard deviation of 9.5. Before hypothesis testing is carried out, the analysis requirements test is first checked, namely the normality test and the linearity test. After the normality test was carried out, it turned out that the X and Y variables had normal data. Through the linearity test on the regression equation = 14.86 + 0.96 X, it turns out that the equation is very linear and significant. For hypothesis testing, t test was obtained = 15.81 with real level α = 5% with chance (1-1/2 α). From hypothesis testing it was rejected and accepted, thus it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model on the motivation to learn Civics class IX MTs Nurul Iman Padang Reba Hinai District Hinai Regency. And the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model contributes 57.76% to the motivation to learn Civics class IX MTs Nurul Iman Padang Reba Hinai District Langkat Regency, while the remaining 42.24 is caused by other factors.
